Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 2, 2026 · Last updated: November 3, 2026
1. Overview
PnotP (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides artificial intelligence systems, APIs, and related technologies, including but not limited to environmental intelligence systems such as Condor.
By accessing or using our services (“Services”), you agree to these Terms.
2. Nature of the Service
Our Services:
- Use AI models to generate predictions, detections, or classifications
- May involve edge devices, APIs, dashboards, or analytics tools
Important:
Our outputs are probabilistic and not guaranteed to be accurate.
They are intended for decision support only, not as a sole basis for critical decisions.
3. No Safety Guarantee
You acknowledge that:
- PnotP does not guarantee detection of fires, hazards, or events
- Delays, false positives, or false negatives may occur
- You remain fully responsible for:
- Safety systems
- Emergency response
- Risk mitigation
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Services in compliance with applicable laws
- Not misuse, reverse-engineer, or exploit the system
- Not rely solely on the system for life-critical decisions
- Maintain backup safety protocols
5. Acceptable Use
Inference on the data-compliant tier is served by third-party providers listed in Schedule 3 of our Data Processing Addendum. Their usage policies apply to your use of the Services and are incorporated into these Terms by reference. You agree not to use the Services, and not to permit anyone using access you provide to use them:
- In violation of the usage policies of the provider serving your request — currently Google Cloud (Vertex AI), Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock) and Fireworks AI — or of the acceptable use policy of the model’s developer, such as Anthropic for the Claude models
- To generate content that sexually exploits or endangers minors, or that facilitates violence, terrorism, or the creation of weapons
- To harass, defraud, impersonate, or carry out targeted surveillance of any person
- To circumvent our rate limits, quotas, key revocation, or any access control
If you provide access to your own users. Many of our customers embed the Services in a product of their own. If you do, you must bind your users to terms at least as restrictive as this section, and you remain responsible to us for their use as if it were your own. Issue a separate API key per downstream customer so that access can be withdrawn individually rather than for all of them at once.
Suspension. We may suspend or revoke any API key immediately and without prior notice where we receive an abuse report from a provider, where our own controls detect activity in breach of this section, or where continued service would put our agreements with a provider at risk. We will tell you what we are permitted to tell you, and restore access once the matter is resolved.
What we can share, and what we cannot. Responding to an abuse report may require us to share request metadata with the provider concerned — which key, when, which model, how many tokens. We do not retain your prompts or completions and therefore cannot produce them, for a provider or for anyone else. That limit is a property of how the system is built, not a policy we could waive: see our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
6. Data & Inputs
You retain ownership of:
- Data you upload or generate (e.g., images, sensor data)
You grant us a limited license to:
- Process data solely to provide the Service and return your result
We do not use your inputs or outputs to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any model, and they are not used to improve the Services. Inputs submitted for inference are processed for the single request and are not retained by us afterwards; each response carries a signed receipt recording the retention basis that applied. See the Data Processing Addendum for the basis per Sub-processor.
7. AI Outputs
- Outputs are generated by machine learning models
- We do not guarantee correctness, completeness, or fitness for purpose
8. Payments & Subscriptions
If applicable:
- Services may be billed via subscription or usage-based pricing
- Payments are processed through a third-party provider (Stripe)
9. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy: https://pnotp.ai/refund-policy
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
PnotP shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of property, revenue, or data
- Failure to detect events (e.g., fires)
Total liability is capped at:
The amount paid by you in the last 12 months
11. Service Availability
We do not guarantee:
- Continuous uptime
- Error-free operation
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- Terms are violated, including the Acceptable Use requirements in Section 5
- System misuse is detected
- A provider serving your requests reports abuse originating from your key
Suspension under Section 5 may take effect immediately and per API key, rather than across your whole account, so that one downstream customer’s breach need not interrupt the others.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time.
